What paint was used for the wood part of the assegai. I have a few a shafts that need touching up.

Len used Humbrol paint, unfortunatelly some original colors are not available any more and you will have to mix a few colors up to get one.

Len told me he also did bulk buying from FW Woolworths but they ceased trading in the UK a few years ago

I should add that this was FW Woolworths Own Label paints but I can not confirm where FWW sourced their supply

I believe some of the later figures also used some acrylic paint, after the factory was visited by the "health and safety police"!:smile2:
