Martyn,

Did this one cross the pond? Looks like I have seen this lonely piper from our mutual friend's collection :) Wondering when the rest of the band will be making an appearance :D

Could be Lawrence:) I fear his mates in the band will take some considerable time to make their appearance:eek:

Re: Trophy Pipers: Piper Findlater?

Greetings to all at TreeFrog.

A question from a forum Newbie:

Did Trophy ever produce the following figure (or similar)

This body fig3.jpg

Combined with this head head.jpg

(images taken from elsewhere on the forum - credits to their respective owners)

Maybe depicting Gordons Piper Findlater on North West Frontier(?)

Was it part of a set?

Part of a series?

Did it even exist at all? It may have been another manufacturer, my recall's not perfect.

Any info greatly appreciated.

Belated welcome to the Forum grsn

Never seen a wounded Highlander in that pose wearing a Foreign Service helmet, the one you show is from the Napoleonic series

This Gordon Highlander Officer is from the Egypt and The Sudan series
