Thanks scott for the info, i am going to get my daughters digital camara and start taking a few pictures and see what i can do. I must say that my main collection is not zulu but napoleonic. I have a display with hougemont on the left and la haye sainte on the right. I have mixed in some frontline cavalry and mtd personalities, some liitle legion , some britains that i have glossed , a couple alexander figures and cav, and a beautiful french artillery set made by soldiers of the world. My problem is that i have added too much and things look crowded so i have some play time ahead of me to get things just right. I will say this that nothing looks better than when your looking at eye level at the setups. Hopefully i can convey that in pictures.

Hi damian, i have a question regarding the french infantry advancing sets. I have wa7,wa7v,wa7x and i know there is a set out there called wa7tx. My question is that i have seen sets on ebay uk for sale this summer that had blue trousers and blue coats but had red and yellow plumes and yellow eppelautes or trim on their shoulders, are these part of a series or do you think they were specially ordered for someone ? I figured if anybody would know it would be you.

I am not sure. I know the TX sets were specially painted for Mike Laeding. WA7TX is the Chasseurs Du Montagne. I will see if I have some pictures on my computer at work on Monday.
Regards
Damian

Trophy made this set for their 25 th anniversary in 1997

This old Trophy Poll may be worth a revisit seeing that Trophy is currently in the lead in the "Favourite Glossy Toy Soldiers" Poll.

The Trophy leader board shows the top 3 with a tie for third place:

1. Zulu War 65.38%

2. Napoleonics: Waterloo 38.46%

3. Dragon Crest: Sudan and Boxer Rebellion tied at 23.08% each.

I think a poll on what we would like to see back in production first from Trophy/Ken Jackson would be great.
