Does Trophy have a web site?
Is there somewhere I can see all of the Sudan and Zulu sets?

No, there is no web site. Please post a photo of what you posted on HB and Martyn can id them.

I picked these up today. Unfortunately, my expertise is not in Glossy Toy Soldiers. First, can anyone identify these? And second, is anyone interested in them.Thanks....Bill

Hi Bill

The figures with green bases and the one drinking from the silver mug, along with the cooker and supply limber are the Field Kitchen set included in the AZW series set#EQ31A

This is the Boer War version that you don't see very often

Set# EQ31/ABW - FIELD KITCHEN [/B]

The ones with brown/tan bases are from set# TD2 - REVEILLE featuring the Scots Guards included in the Egypt and Sudan series

Here are my versions of the same set

EGYPT and THE SUDAN series

set# TD2 - REVEILLE - ROYAL MARINES

Anglo Zulu War version

set# TD2 - REVEILLE - 24th FOOT

Looks like you also have a couple of set#EQ23 G.S. wagons with various stores

Hope this helps

Cheers

Martyn:)

Martyn,
I had told Bill also previously that he has the Supply wagon set too, just not sure if it is Sudan or Zulu, I think Zulu Unloading the Supplies.

There is a 4th wagon also, I can't remember which set is which as there was one with Horses where a guy is holding the horses and that may be just the loaded Supply Wagon, then the other with the Guys Unloading a Horseless wagon.

These are from the era where they came in the off white cardboard boxes with labels on them, hand written.

But I think I count 4 sets:

A> Field Kitchen
B> Reveille
C> Unloading Supplies with Wagon
D> Supply Wagon

Len did these for all different regiments and eras - Zulu - 24th and Royal Marines as well as Sudan - Royal Marines, Lincolnshire, Sussex and I am sure I am forgetting some.

Ohh I just realized something. Pictures 3 and 4 (all the small stuff) are of the same thing. I just re-arrangd the pieces to get a better picture. I only have what you see in ONE picture not two. Sorry guys, I 'm a dummy for not explaining that earlier. To be clear there is only what you see in picture 3. Picture 4 is a duplicate picture. Sorry again....Bill

There is also a soldier shaving himself, with a mirror placed on the tree. His coat hangs on the tree.

Their used to be a Trophy of Texas website where you could track most Trophy items, but that is gone I think, now that Trophy of Texas closed down. Al (Boerboy on this forum) had posted several years ago (in a discussion about Hicks Atwell trains if I recall) that he was preparing a Trophy website indexing all Trophy sets with photographs, and that it was almost ready, but I haven't heard anything since.

Al?

Al?

Trophy of Texas is gone and Alex hasn't participated in the Forum for quite awhile.

I used to be in contact with him and we’d meet ocasionally in Princeton but I haven’t talked with him in a couple of years. I think he’s still selling on eBay, however.

The Shaving Figure is the bottom left figure with the big mustache in my photo.

Looks like Trophy Zulu Wars Kitchen & other sets' fun stuff to play with in a group. Very nice pick! Trophy is my favorite manufacturer! I have some nice sets but I`m collecting new guys now. Thanks for the pics! Thank for the forum!

BTW, I have the HMS Lion! Cool eh? Cheers & keep collecting:)
