Trophy WW1 (13 Viewers)

The wonderful Skoda Mortar Crew painted by our very talented friend John O'Brien (Obee) have arrived and been placed on my Trophy (and other makers) WWI diorama, and I could not be more pleased:

Louis,

Looks like those gunners fitted nicely onto the gun because I didn't have that 'big beast' here to make sure they were correct.

The gloss finish matches the Trophy figures, so I'm happy with this result, just like you.

Glad to help,

John

Louis...
I don't think I own a table that could hold that much weight...
epic!

Michael,

It actually isn't on a table, it takes up what was intended to be the entire walking surface on the floor of my aerodrome room. To walk in the room now, you have to pick up a model where you want to step, then step, and repeat. It gets a little hairy adding things to the diorama or the Airfield Diorama on the platform behind it!{sm4}

This is a thread I had overlooked, but 'blinkin' 'eck', what a target rich environment!

Obee's work is brilliant.

Thanks to the kindness of our good friend Greg (Hawkeye), I added a third Trophy Camel Trooper of the Escort to my Dardanelles diorama:

The seller I purchased all of my recent Trophy WWI acquisitions offered me two one of a kind specially painted Russian standard bearers, and a spring version of the Oxcart I had never seen before (I have the winter version). We agreed on a price and they are one their way here.
