TS Models in Musee des Blindes, Saumur, France (1 Viewer)

Hi all

I thought you might be interested in these pic's that i took while i was visiting a military museum in France during 2009. Sorry that they are a little small, but i had to reduce the size of the pic's so i could post them on here.

The museum's name is on the thread title and it's well worth visiting as it not only contains these great little models in dio's (there are more models in dio's that i didn't take pic's of as well) but real AFV's and other vehicles from WW2, WW1 and post WW2 right through the 50's, 60's, 70's, 80's and even some AFV's from the 90's.

If you go over Wayne then give us a hoy and i might join ya! I would love to do another European trip someday and maybe pop over to the little island across the channel and visit some of the English lads on this forum as well as that Bovington tank museum in Dorset UK.

FYI during WW2 Saumur saw an heroic stand by the "Cadets de Saumur" (Cavalry school cadets) against the avancing German army on the Loire river. This was considered one of the first acts of French Resistance since it happened after Petain's call to stop combat operations by the French army.
