Mark, to answer your question, yes, Simcoe would later become Gov./General of Canada. The Queens Rangers or 1st American Regiment would later become a Canadian National Guard unit. A set of 18th century colors from the Queens Rangers actually were in the officer's mess for a number of years. I use to be a reenactor in the Queens Rangers. I have enjoyed the show and now can't wait to see how the QR's are changed under Simcoe.

I've taken a gamble and picked up the 1st, 2nd & 3rd series of 'Turn' cheaply via Amazon. I've now viewed the first 5 episodes of the first series and it's a good watch and well worth the funds thus far.
