Tv Series Combat (1 Viewer)

I'm not a techno geek but I think most dvds and tvs can handle NTSC (Never the Same Color Twice :) ) and PAL. As said below the main issue would be the region code, but that is now less of a problem as most dvd players can have the code changed in need. Australia is in Region 4 so we have problems buying compatible dvds on eBay etc because the market here is so small.

Btw, we even got Combat downunder and it was one of my favs together with F-Troop and The Samurai. I guess it's no surprise that I used to make wooden machine guns and tin Ninja throwing stars as a kid.

I used to make Cherry apple genade launchers using pipe, mom's old undergarment elastic band and a wooden stock. The sound of the apple going through the tube with a whoosh and shooting some 25' was a sight to behold during our neighborhood dirt bomb fights..........:) Maybe that whoosh was my mom screaming at me , because she ran out of undies.....memory fading......now.....Michael

Those grenades sound great but not something that we had in Australia as we were to busy making cracker guns. Which were basically a short length of pipe with one end you could block off and a small hole to light the cracker/bunger/fireworks with. The ammunition was usually a marble or a ball bearing which could knock a hole thru an old sheet of roofing iron. We also made shanghais/slingshots out of forked sticks and elastic rubber which you tied to the stick with bits of copper wire - those were the days :)
