Hi Rob, you scored BIG TIME! Congrats to you on picking up two of the finest tanks I've ever seen! I'm hoping to get a Firefly, and have sent an email to Treefrog to see if I can pre-order one (fingers crossed). I enjoyed reading your posts and those from others earlier today....what a buzz must have been going through that show w/ Figarti's bombastic surprises! Sweet stuff indeed; I share your enthusiasm for these pieces for art and I'm very happy for you too!!! Thanks for the great, close-up pics too. Enjoy your treasures! :)

Thanks Joe thats very kind of you indeed and much appreciated.I really agree that they are two of the best, superb quality.I'm sure you'll get one as you've emailed very early-i know you'll love it!.Figarti are really nailing their Tanks and also the figures now. Thanks again Joe and thanks for posting:)

Excellent photos! Those two tanks look excellent!

You're welcome Rob, and I definitely agree that Figarti has figured out the fine art of figure making. Indeed, after numerous attempts and much perserverance, Figarti has at last consistently nailed figure manufacturing. It's great to see their awesome armor fitted w/ their new level of fantastic figures. They always had the painting aspect of the individuals very well done, but often limbs looked disproportionate, some poses seemed very unnatural, and facial sculpting was often "off", etc. But to their credit, they knew it and admitted it and wanted to hear the criticism so they could improve. (What a breath of fresh air!) I mean your two tank commanders look perfect, along the lines of how I felt about the M3 Lee figures. The pics I saw today of the three new Brits looked perfect as well (I submitted a pre-order email to Treefrog for this set too!)- I like the new Figarti stiff so much it's a bit scary, being that I have yet to see any of these in person yet! Also, I'm hoping to get the winter prime mover and 88 set as well (yes, I sent Treefrog an email requesting a preorder for these sets too!). I think I read that you picked those up today too w/ the new K & C British landing craft. Great stuff and great fun! Enjoy and thanks again for sharing-

Joe

Thanks,im very pleased with them.I wonder what they will announce in Chicago!

Rob

Surely you haven't finished enjoying the new pieces already so that you need to look ahead to Chicago. Greedy - at least wait until we get ours before speculating on Chicago :p :D

Nice photos

Cheers Joe.I'm normally very choosy about which figures i display with my K&C collection, but these new Figarti British infantry go so well with them that its going to work well.I hope Figarti will add to this range which combined with K&C will give us both numbers and depth to the collection. With all the quality about now Joe it feels like the golden age again!

Rob

Thanks Joe thats very kind.

Rob

Rob, Joe is right, it is good to see.

I put some pics of the firefly in the diodrama thread under market garden, with a few more additions, 30 Corps may yet appear - it has been a blinkin long time at the bridge without armour support!

Thanks Kevin, its good to be able to finally join in on that side of things:).

I'll check that out.Should me and James send you some armoured support,as long as those naughty Germans don't damage out brand new Fireflies!;)

Rob

Love the firefly, did you say you got the winter 88 as well Rob?? I already pre-ordered my winter 88 and prime-mover from George, they look awesome...Sammy

Thanks Rob:

For the continuing reports and photos on the Show.

Wow, I agree with agree with everyone it looks like Figarti's best effort to date. Do all of there figures look that good now? The face, kind of looks life like doesn't it? Do that look that good in person too?

Thanks guys.Sammy,am just trying to find the money for the 88mm,the old credit card took a kicking yesterday!;)

Carlos you are spot on here. This crewman has very good facial details as do the new British infantry,i really think Figarti are closing the gap in this dept.

Clive only had a display 88 and Prime Mover - not sure if he sold that or not.
His supply of 88s is coming in a couple of weeks apparently so i've put my order in.
100 each of the Firefly, 88 and Prime Mover will not last long so anyone sitting on the fence will need to get in quick i reckon.
