Hi Treefroggers,
Here’s a few photos of the second Bedford QL Fuel Bowser… This time in Normandy ’44 black and olive drab “Mickey Mouse” pattern colour scheme.

The final Bedford will be in Desert Air Force sand colour…enjoy!

Best regards,
Gordon C. Neilson

P.S. Attention Wayne… If there is a Stuka coming in 17 days nobody has told Andy or me about it!!!

Really like them both Wayne, its the Tilly all over again. I thought I'd settle for two but caved in the end and got all three!. Anything with an RAF roundel on it is a winner!:smile2:

Yes, you are a cheeky lad ^&grin

I like the original one best but will interested to see what the Desert one looks like. Would go well with my Desert Air Force.

Looks really great, that 250 series really is rolling out some cool and unique pieces. Its really a fabulous idea for diehard collectors of specific lines. Still absolutely want my RAF version but the D-Day Mickey Mouse looks really fine......decisions, decisions, decisions.

Beautiful! Hard to say which one looks better... I will certainly have a hard time choosing which one to join my AFB...

Just a question about the Bowser was it also used as a refuelling truck for army vehicles or was it just used for aircraft refueling?

Thanks for posting these Gordon, they look great.

A question - what's the aircraft in the bottom picture? Is it an upcoming K&C Warbird? Polystone or Wood?

My hope is that whatever dispatch these appear in, it's at the same time as whatever the first desert RAF plane (and ground crew?) is released. I'm only going to be able to buy one, and I assume that it will be a "series 250". I'd like to be able to make an informed decision about which bowser to purchase.
