Here Hawker Typhoon Mk 1B pilot Flt. Off. L.W.F. "Pinky" Stark scrambles to his plane after hearing of low flying FW190s out over the chanel. Manston Base 1943, No. 609 Squadron.

Still with the RAF theme, I just received RAF 005 pilot to go along with my new Tilly and am using a Revell 1/32 Typhoon with Techmod decals that I just finished building for the background Typhoon. Hut from Frontline.

Thanks for that Guy. I had to do a lot of masking with the paint job on this plane with the underneath stipes, spinner, yellow leading edges, etc., but it all turned out ok.

I forgot the pictures showing the engine panel off exposing the engine.:)

Love this set up. I walk past the Typhoon each week in my toy soldier shop and it is a really impressive piece. Quite a sizeable plane as well.

Thanks Jack. The K&C Typhoon is a great looking piece, but due to my limited funds, I had to pass on that one. Cheers.
