We are pleased to present the long awaited and highly sought after follow up release to our Polish Winged Hussars with sets TYW025-029 which includes 4 new Hussars and King Jan III Sobieski. King Jan (John) III Sobieski was King of Poland, as well as Grand Duke of Lithuania. Famous for his prowess as a military commander, despite inheriting a Polish state ravaged by years of constant war, his most famous victory came at the Battle of Vienna in 1683 against the Ottoman Turks. After a full day of battle, Sobieski led none other than the Polish Winged Hussars along with other allies in a massive charge shattering the Ottoman battle line. He was hailed as the Savior of Vienna for his role in the battle. Our rendition of him is incredibly detailed as are the four hussars that accompany him in this release. We hope you enjoy them!

HOLY ****, Absolutely love em. :salute:::salute:::salute::

Had been looking firward to these since they were previewed on here from Toy Sokdier Magazine... stunning figures!

Awesome figures especially King Jan Sobieski.

All flags still look very thick though. Is it going to be addressed in the future?

Got these 5 ordered and looking forward to getting the full chorus line lined up.

Great figures congratulations :salute::. Can you post a few more pictures ? The photo here is impossible to see. regards Gebhard

Hi - actually agree. The picture is terrible. Resizing for the forum was the main issue as on the tool I use I just go for .3 meg.

I’ll take more this weekend and resize them to the limits of the forum’s limitations

Will post this weekend

Vicknor,
Congratulations on amassing this beautiful formation! Shown together like that they are even more stunning!

Just following up to see if you have some other photo's. Thanks Gebhard

Gebhard,
I received my Hussars last week and they are quite stunning. In my opinion, these may be the finest figures that First Legion has produced to date. I do have a large FL collection so I wouldn’t take that statement lightly. I am attached some photos of details from the 3 figures that I purchased. I hope that you enjoy them.
Thanks,
Matt

Hi Matt,

Thanks for taking the time to take and post these photo's, they are beautiful with the qualities on full display. I agree with your high opinion of the Winged Hussars, they are at the moment tied with the French Imperial Guard Chasseur a' Cheval figures as FL's best mounted figures. Thanks again, all the best Gebhard
