That is a great looking setup you have there!! Thanks for sharing it. The H&A base looks great also.

BEAUTIFUL. My compliments on a truly wonderful dio. Spectacular pieces.

I love this.......especially the overhead shot. Such fine work by Terp

Glad to see your new base has arrived safely and is being put to good use. Great scene too, but you know I have a weak spot for artillery... I think someone needs to sculpt an artillery guidon!
They better be loading canister...

Looks like there's hot work ahead!

Need a guidon and battery officers and sergeants.

Very nice{eek3}{eek3}! If only there was the same for Napoleonic....

Some great work there. I love the wounded union soldier in the background in that Battery set...He just adds so much depth to the story.......The Rebs are great too...thanks for sharing...

Excellent!!!! Great collection and display. That base is huge!. I would love to have one that size!

Terp: That is an incredible display. Grand in scope and very comprehensive in its depiction. The presentation is textbook of a Union Artillery Battery in its deployed form. The packaging of fine quality figurines combined with terrific scale accessories and scenery gives incredible layers of dimension. Most impressive.

Britman, Capt, Walt, Bama, Mapleleaf, Ken, Sandor, 6th Wisc, Jeffman, thanks for the kind remarks. Glad you like the dio. Chris

Terp and Ken . . . Just excellent scenarios. I am just catching up with this. I am currently in Santee, S.C. on a golf trip with my brother and friends . . . have not been home since last Thursday so I am somewhat out of touch on the forum . . . Just found the computer room at the hotel we are staying at. Terp - great looking dio base made by ken (H&A) . . I am sure you will enjoy it as much as I enjoy mine. If I was home I would create a Confederate artillery battery scene to return the fire . . .

Thanks Mike. Your dioramas have always inspired me to join in presenting the ACW.

Chris

Chris: It will be a treat when Mike gets back to see a Rebel battery in action. I believe him or Ken mentioned that a Confederate Artillery battery was composed of four guns not six.

Jeff, that's correct. Rebel batteries were usually a mix of 4 guns. Standard Federal battery was 6 guns of one type. Chris

I still have my old 3 gun Confederate battery that I made for Conte and at some point I am going to drag it out and replace the guns with the ones I did for Troiani, repaint the crews and set them up with the more recent crews from W. Britain. This way I will be able to create a battery with some interesting figures beyond just four men per gun.
I have a few projects on the front burner at the moment however!
Ken
