You and Napoleon - both enamored with artillery. Nice arrangement of your Union artillery collcetion Ron.
:) Mike

My new Britains Union Artillery Set is on the way - Whew ! I almost missed out on that one...

Must be more careful on future releases.

I also got some old Britain Union Artillery figures that were released long time ago - they are make great additions. Once I get my new Britain Artillery Set in - I will take some new pictures of my collection. :)

Hi There!
I am glad you got your new Federal gun and crew... I am still waiting for mine!

You might want to reposition the #1 and the #2 men at the muzzle of your gun. Remember that the canister round has the powder charge fixed to the sabot at the rear of the can of shot. This is represented as the linen colored bag... the silver end is the tin sheet can holding the balls.

Powder Bag in first, or there will be a very lucky group of Confederates and a unserviceable Napoleon.
All the Best!

Thank you.

I just thought I would mention that next year should see two new artillery sets. For those of you who are building batteries, we should have a new Federal and a new Confederate gun and crew. These, along with the single artillery figures should enable you to re-create a 4 gun Confederate battery and a 6 gun Federal battery.
Other important elements won't be very far behind.

This is a correct pic :

I'm horrified! Say it ain't so Ron...Yankee artillery:eek:! Seriously that is a great looking set. I'd be tempted to get it myself but I'm sure my Reb ancestors would come back and haunt me!

Its a great set Ron. May you enjoy it as much as I enjoy mine.
:) Mike

Great news Ken! Any thought to dismounted battery and troop guidons (other than the national flag in the cavalry series)? Thanks.

Hi,

Have both 6-Horse Artillery MIB Sets (Union & Confederate) produced in 2002 #17379 and 2003 #17433. Would there be any interest in these sets, if I put them up for sale on eBay? Also thinking of selling my rather large Britains and Conte ACW collection (all MIB), and focusing on Napoleonic. Should I keep them for awhile longer? Advise appreciated.
