You should report him. He should have disclosed it in the listing. Of course, with those idiots it won't get you anywhere but you should do it anyway and I would refuse to pay. Tell him you've consulted an attorney and that if he refuses to send, he's in breach of contract.

Thanks Brad, I have paid him his .70 cents plus an extra .30 which = 1.00 he can run off to the bank now with it....some people.

Cheers

It would be better to report him to paypal, they actually do sort these things out from time to time :)

Edit: Ok, you paid him already - what about the principle :D

You can also give the seller negative feedback if he did not mention the tax in his item description. Most sellers mention a sales tax will be charged if the buyer is in the same state or province as the seller.:)

Hi
The only problem with that is i,m sure he will also give a negative of his own,
as most of the people i,ve bought off dont issue feedback until you have.
[makes it a bit of a waste of time realy ,except to spot realy dodgy sellers]
It would probably just end up tit for tat.

Please report him! You need to do this to keep the idiots in check. He is susposed to disclose all costs to you before you even bid on the item. As for the feedback issue you should contact ebay and see what they think on this issue. Today its 70cents tomorrow it will be more especially since he is probably doing this to a lot of people.

Check with your state sales tax dept and make sure he has State Sales Tax Number and is paying the state their share. If he is not doing this they will rain on his parade.

He could end up wishing you had never bought his book.
