Ok, sports fans and those playing along at home................................sorry, holiday fever catching me as I am finally getting a break from work travel.

Anyhow, I bought this awhile ago, forgot where or what, it is marked with the usual TM on the bottom, but who/what is it?? I can't remember for the life of me:

Thanks to the ID help, I believe it is Prince Charles. Have to await Martyn's official comments, I am sure he just might know the set number and vintage!!!! I know its not in any of my catalogs!

I'd put money on a "Special" Trophy figure of Prince Charles to commemorate "The investiture of The Prince of Wales". I'll have a word with Len next week, he isn't available at the moment.

Sorry for the delay, here is the answer to your query.

The figure is of Prince Charles from a "Special" Chess set (The Investiture of the Prince of Wales) that was produced by Trophy at the same time as the Lady Diana Wedding Chess set. Several single figures were produced from the set in 1981 and this was one of them.
