Some Homeguards with broom handles & pitch forks all stood to attention would look cool!

While I would like to stay away from portrayals of the dads army we all know and love. I would like to see a hotch potch of armed HG as you mention I think they would look great

Totally agree Mitch just some homeguards all lined up to be inspected maybe with a sergent handing out rifles or uniform when thet finally received it? As much as I love dads army don't think K&C need to copy the likenesses or anything else, there's plenty of great photos of real homeguards to use for insperation!

Probably getting too specific but, a soldier handing over a broom shank with a knife taped to it for a rifle would be a great little set

Great ideas chaps, much as I just love DA I too would not want to see characters from the prog but figures representing the real home front. One set I'd love to see would be the scene from the film Battle of Britain with the irate farmer with pitchfork and Polish pilot...in effect ' they don't like it up em ' !!:smile2:
