Rick,

I have got to complement Figarti. This V weapon series is superb and just getting better and better.

I managed to track down one of the camo V2s so I guess I'm going to have to get one of these as well. Oh darn.

I knew Figarti was going to the top with their new 1/30 scale. I'm glad I got in on the ground floor. :)

Figarti is going to get Aloooot of my money.

Cheers,

Paul

Did everybody know that the German's made a second type launch control vehicle for the V-2?

The Feuerleitpanzer Sd.Kfz.251 ;)

Cheers,

Paul

I'm going to cancel my K&C pre-ordered 88.

I think there's no comparison in detail, with Figarti's LCV

Just look at this Figarti LCV and K&C's 88, there both the same chassis.

The Figarti LCV's, spoked front wheels are molded with open spokes. Same goes for the bogie's. :) K&C are molded solid with black painted on openings.

And the LCV has individual track links, and complete underside detail.

I'm mean what are we seeing here, a 2008 V-2 Space Odyssey

Figarti's going to the TOP, I can feel it.

Just what do you think your doing Rick.......Rick.... Can we talk about this.....

My minds going.........I can feel it........I can feel it.........I can feel it......

Rick...I know a song.......Would you like me to sing it for you.......

Daisy....Daisy...

Paul, the upcoming K & C Halftrack with mounted 88 mm gun is based on the 18 tonne Sd Kfz 9 which is a much larger halftrack than the V2 Launch Command Vehicle that I believe was based on the 8 tonne Sd Kfz 7.

Personally I'm getting both of these models ;) :D

Paul,

There is no question that Figarti makes the best vehicles, but I think it is a bit unfair to compare K&C and Honour Bound to them. Figarti specializes in these vehicles, employs a champion model builder to help design them, and makes them out of literally hundreds of pieces of metal as well as polyresin. K&C and Honour Bound make theirs almost exclusively out of polystone.

I can't speak for Honour Bound's pricing, but K&C prices its vehicles substantially lower than Figarti's, and usually includes a bunch of their excellent figures, their specialty, with each vehicle. Figarti vehicles have to be priced a little higher, to reflect the expense of producing and assembling all the detailed parts. Each, in its own way, is a great value.

I think there is plenty of room in a collection for both Figarti and K&C products. I focus on K&C for their superior figures, on Figarti for their superior vehicles, and on both for great aircraft and diorama materials. As a collector, I feel like I have a wider range of choices. Like Oz, I will be buying both!:p:D:cool:

You make a valid point Louis,

And in reviewing the value, I will get both also

Thank you for the correction Mr.OZ.

That just means I'll need both now, doesn't it.

One of the things I like about you Louis is your objectivity. And I would agree with you without reservation. I own two Figarti Tanks and well, WOW!
