A more unusual movie would be hard to find. It is bleak, brutal, and hard to take your eyes from. Made in 2009, it stars Mads Mikkelsen as One-Eye, a Viking warrior that falls in with a band of Christian warriors that are headed for Jerusalem, but miss it by a little and end up in the new world. It is slowly paced, with a minimum of talking, but it's just so odd I found it worth watching. -- Al
