Brad,

Do you know if the Metal Shed is coming. Think they were there last year.

Thanks.

(The other) Brad,
Bob Roarke and Joe Remson told me at the Woburn Show they think they are going, the key is getting inventory to bring there in time.................

Hi, Brad,

As of Tuesday, they have not responded, so I don't think they're coming, at least not on their own. They could share a space with someone else.

George and Brad,

Thanks for the response. Wanted to see what they had but, oh, well.

Hi Brad,
I saw Bruce at the Westcoaster and he had a ton of new stuff in the armored train department. Take a look at the pics section, it is a shame if that didn't make it in time, really neat to see.

By the way, looking forward to seeing you, I can pick up my Durbar set and the others you have for me!

Best
Tom

Brad,
I noticed No Dutkins or Ferguson either huh?

That is disappointing. I have emailed Joe a number of times wanting to buy stuff, but it is like pulling teeth. You would think Bruce is losing any number of sales because of the hit or miss representation of his product. I had been saving up much bucks just for his table at this show... Michael

Maybe they're out of product. When you go on the website, it seems that they don't have anything in stock.

Tom,
Mike Ferguson is not a good health and will not attend the show, but Bob Shouldberg will be there. I got a table as well. Dutkins is kind of quit on the show because it was quite disapointing for him last time as much as I know.

I have been told that I can special order, but I rather not spend lots of cash, only to wait 6 months for my goods..Michael

Mike Ferguson is not a good health........................

Sorry to hear about that, Mike is a good guy, always enjoyed seeing him at the show.

That's a shame...............

Not quite, Al. Rich has been scaling back going to shows, period, also for health reasons, more specifically, getting older and finding the work of loading in and loading out to be tiring. Ron Ruddell from London Bridge stopped doing shows several years ago, for the same reason, but he's still very active with the shop and mail order. We're all getting older. I find it more and more tiring myself to help run our show, as I get older, and with my 50th birthday coming up at the end of this month, I'm still one of the younger members of the club.

But this is the way of all things.

And I always thought you were my and George's age, 25. ^&grin

I received an email from the Metal Shed folks. They said they will be there.

Lots of good vendors. I don't see The Marksman or Michigan Toy Solider on there this year.

Marxman (Stengel) will be there, he just waited till the last minute to confirm, so his name was not in that list.

As far as Michigan Toy Soldier goes, I went back through our vendor lists, going back to 2011, and they haven't taken tables since then, at least. I don't have the docs for earlier years on this machine. If I remember correctly, though, that's about the time that Berry was caught using his customers' credit cards to embezzle funds. MTS may have been represented in another dealer's space, but they didn't take their own tables, as far as I can tell from my records. I just can't remember if I saw them or not, myself.

Brad,
What about Butternut and Blue, is he coming, I hope so, he's got a lot of good stuff..................

I just confirmed that Butternut & Blue won't be able to make it this year. I also just got clarification from Stengle, we don't have his papers yet, he just gave a verbal promise. We expect him, but he needs to complete the formality.

Too bad about Butternut and Blue, he's a good guy and pleasure to deal with.

"Complete the formality"; ie, come up with the scratch for the tables, cash is preferred.............:wink2:
