The Novelties:

King & Country's new gloss figures. I did not take photos as I only saw them in boxes. I do like them although they are different from the traditional gloss figures. And for any gloss collector, these figures are huge! Therefore, I recommend to see them with your own eyes prior to making a major investment:

Lastly: several years ago, the gloss samurai range of Monarch Regalia was the discovery of the MFCA show for me. Well, in short, they did it again. The new range is called "The 47 Ronin" and is based on one of the most popular stories of Japanese history. The scene represents the 47 ronin taking revenge for their daimyo having been forced to commit sepuko.

I took these photos from Ted's Website as Ted was still unpacking these when I bought them :)rolleyes2:) and hence I had no chance taking photos:

I further bought Imperial Productions, Beau Geste, First Legion and some additional samurais from Monarch Regalia.

Wow, there are some amazing pieces at this show! The Tiger dio is outstanding, as it shows off those cold-looking German soldiers very nicely. And the Aeroart dio of the Bohemond meeting Emperor Alexis is just breath-taking! The detail paintwork on those figures is unbelieveable. Though it is to be expected from AeroArt, it is still great to see.

Andanna, thanks for taking these pics. It is really appreciated!

Al (boerboy) and Andreas (Andanna),

Thanks very much for posting the very nice shots of the show.

I think the dining-in / messkit glossy figures are by Caberfeidh of Scotland.

Some wonderful shots of treefroggers too.....

Cheers, Raymond.:)

Guys, great report and photos, many thanks for posting them. Which Imperial sets did you get Andreas? Any photos?

Andreas, thank you so much for your photos! And thanks for the photo of me with Ian MacKenzie - now you guys now why I don't let myself be photographed ;) Seriously, it was a great time, I'm sorry I didn't get to see all of the Treefroggers, but I'm glad you all enjoyed the show and made some good finds.

I have to process the photos I took, and also take some pics of the things I picked up. I got some of the Tradition SYW British cavalry figures from Rich Dutkin, and some Rose and other castings from Dan Jones (he shared a table with ISA Warenhandels, to the right side of the exhibition). I'll get those up over the next few days.

I'll have photos of the exhibit pieces and a list of the awards up on our website, too, but it'll probably be by next Monday.

Prost!
Brad
