Thanks - I was inspired by a picture I have in a model aircraft book that I have from my childhood.

I am going to try a shot of the Typhoon from above looking down on a train. Some guy on the Forum did that with an American fleet and it looked good so I am going to steal his idea.

Looks good Jack. A couple of idea to maybe make it more convincing.

How about coloring the flame on the V-1 with some red & yellow paint to look like a flame and the other end with some charcoal grey to look like exhaust.

Also, does the prop on the Typhoon spin? If so, maybe us a fan/hair dryer to get it to spin when you take the pic. Good luck!

Your advice is certainly inspired, but the picture, tragically, shows me working at the extreme edge of my talents. I have no more to give{sm4}.

I will give it a go though!

The painting bit might be best left to the experts but I reckon the fan bit is great...I wish I had though of that....if you dont mind a suggestion....the wind may cause problems of some sort with the way you set things up...try the fan at various speeds....even if the prop only spins slowly it will give a rotation effect to the photo...regards Tom

Jack, a couple of pics for inspiration. Notice in the second pic (real V-1) that the flame doesn't need to be coming straight out to be correct. I sure a cool cat like you can accomplish this simple conversion. After all you're only coloring cotton balls. ^&grin

Good luck your coolness!

Chuck
