Vintage K&C Wood, Metal and Resin Allied Armor (2 Viewers)

Many thanks Louis for posting those pix of your unique collection...It brought back many happy memories!

Now, as regards production numbers of the original wooden, hand-carved 'Tigers', 'Panthers' and 'Shermans' made in China....Just 50 of each were built for a total of 150 models.

Hope this helps, Andy.

Sorry Andy, I had a senior moment!{sm4}

Thanks for posting these very valuable early wooden vehicles, Louis.

But according to K&C's Collectors magazine, Toy Soldier Picture Books V1 and your previous thread about the 3 early wooden tanks(Tiger, Panther and Sherman) which were made in China, their production run is 50 each rather than 100. Unless further information was received to reveal the actual production run is 100 and not 50, I assume 50 for each type is correct.

Anyway, if you don't mind could you please provide more photos of the wooden Tigers and Panthers?

Like the photos you took from the B17, hmm, next time will be inside a B29!!!

Best regards.

You are indeed correct, I had a senior moment and forgot the correct production numbers.:redface2: I will be hapy to take more photos of the early Tiger and Panther from China.:smile2:

If a B29 comes around and offers me a flight, you bet my son and I will be on board!{sm4}

LOL...I am of the age that senior moments occur all to often. Louis you may be the only one that has the VN04 wooden UH1 Huey. If you are serious about selling it...I am your Huckleberry... PM me.

Congratulations, Tom...Even I don't have one in the K&C collection.
All the best, Andy.

Andy, I think the firebase and vehicles was one of the best I have seen, everytime I am at Louis, I gravitate to it! Just a great dio, I need the firebase and the 2 vehicles, if I ever find one I will be a happy man!

Speaking of Dios, I have cased Louis's house many times looking at the Indiana Jones airbase AK dio, now that was a brilliant one too!

Thanks for the photos, Louis.

Always to dream I have the Tiger and Panther, especially the later TK01 Tiger in my collection.
