Last, but certainly not least . . . . FIW scenario showcasing the new Clash of Empires Eastern Woodland Indians . . . Currently some of my favorite WB figures. "At the Edge of the Woods" dio base by H&A:

Mike, the FIW scene with the Clash of Empires figures is great. It really makes me want to branch out to that series because of the possibilities. You have a very impressive collection and it is displayed very well. Chris

I think you would like this range very much Chris.I feel the best is yet to come and come and come.
Mark

Mark, I agree that this would be a good series to collect and it does look like it is just starting. Chris

Thanks A_C, glad you enjoyed the photos. Here's a link to a thread I started with photos of my WB WWI dio, http://www.treefrogtreasures.com/forum/showthread.php?46984-New-WWI-Arrivals&highlight=

All of the vegetation seen in the shelf dios were made/created by Ken & Ericka Osen and marketed under their company's name Hudson & Allen . .

Thanks again Chris for all of your kind comments. The Clash of Empires range has just started. There have only been 15 figures released to date (WB #16000 thru 16014), the last five of which are just now available (16010-16014). Personally I think these are some of the best sculpts and paint finish ever done by WB. Next to my 4 sets of Confederates climbing over the post & rail fence sections, the Eastern Woodland Indians are currently my favorites.

Also, at the Gettysburg model soldier symposium, Ken hinted at a number of FIW and early frontier figures and diorama accessories that we will see in the future with this range. I vigorously asked about the possibilities of French Marines in campaign dress and various rangers . . . . . Ken's eye would twinkle and all he would say is that I would be pleasantly surprised and pleased. Also, he did say that buildings such as log cabins (hand-hewn logs with dovetailed corners) is part of the planned future releases.

I like what Ken says!{bravo}} but I hope if they do like a Simon Kenton figure he will be big as he was a giant of a man.

Very well displayed - just gorgeous.

I wonder whether there is any way to add glass doors or protect the displays against dust with acrylic sheets. :wink2:

Thanks . . . Actually EASY TRACK does make molded door door panels that can be hinged to each shelf section . . . . I really don't know how "air tight" these would be and whether or not they would be effective "dust deterents". I decided not to use them since they only were made to fit onto a 24" shelf section (each molded door pair were either 12" x 34" or 12" x71" . . . . too short or too long for my 48" high shelves. I alos noticed a considerable amount of dust in the enclosed cabinent that I use to keep these figures in when I moved them over to their new home . . . dust seems to be very penetrating. Food for thought . . . .

What a great way to store and display your figures Mike. This makes it easier to rotate your figures in and out of your main diorama.
I love the Jenkins aircraft, they are the best!
I hope to see some new pictures from you soon.

Thank you very much Ken . . . . . you are absolutely correct. . . . . they are alot easier to rotate in and out of my diorama . . . . . and they are alot easier to view and admire on white shelves with a white background. I like this arrangement much better than the dark oak cabinet I had by using . . . . . JJD Knights of the Sky rock!

Received my 6 sets today and I am very pleased with them but I have to find a bigger place to display them.It's going to be hard as I have limited space and want it to be dust proof as much as possible and cat proof!{eek3}

I received my last 5 sets of the Eastern Woodland Indians yesterday . . . . . Very happy with them . . . . I plan on taking photos of them and all the rest tomorrow . . . . . Will post the photos as soon as I can . . .

Thursday afternoon I received WB Clash of Empires #16010 thru 16014 which were the latest new releases of Eastern Woodland Indian figures. All of these figures are every bit as good as the previous releases and I am very pleased with them . . . . . especially #16013 which depicts a wounded warrior being dragged away from the conflict. I have rearranged my H&A "At the Edge of the Forest" shelf dio base incorporating the new figures as shown in the photos below:

CAUTION LADS . . . THERE BE HOSTILES IN YONDER WOODS:
