With no insult intended for lefthanders, a left handed compliment! :wink2:

Brad

As a lawyer you have probably studied latin - isn't the word for left hander the same as sinister?{sm4}

No - a Revell kit.

A Revell kit? Wow, I was trying to look up a JJD or K&C and wondering what release I missed.
A PROFESSIONAL looking job.

I have a large bin of unbuilt kits waiting to be done in my old age (Ummm .. wait ... that's now) Gotta' go an hunt one of them up.

Really nice with a nice setting, sir!!

Great job on the old classic. I still have the one my father built me around 1963. It is still in good shape, with all the rigging and markings still in place. The model was first produced in the late 50's and has been reissued many times with a variety of different markings. Mine is also the Rickenbacker version. The Revell model has the early rounded style wingtips that the Spad 13 was initially built with. Rickenbacker's Spad was a later built version from Kellner, serial #4523, and should actually have the squared wingtips of this later model. Still, it is not a bad effort from Revell, especially for so early an effort. Revell also made a decent Sopwith Camel and Fokker Triplane in the same scale. They made a Fokker D-7 much later on that was not so good as it had several inaccuracies that were kind of inexcusable. The tripe, Camel, and Spad remain classics for Revell. -- Al

Yes - I love the WW1 aircraft. The age of the dogfight was quite short, but it created some legendary figures and aircraft, that's for sure.
