A 8th Army Vickers tanker asks an officer "how am I supposed to stop Rommel and the Afrika Korps with this pea shooter of a tank?". The officer replies "If you know how to fly an airplane, how about trying this new Hurricane MKIIC? It has a little more pop to it!"

The Desert Vickers set is one of my favorites from the 8th Army line. The 2 addtional figures included as shown (besides the tank commander) are truly great. My favorite has to be the officer in the greatcoat, a classic from K&C.

Excellent pic's Duke, is the sky in the background a backdrop or just a painted wall? Either way it makes the pic's realistic.

ThanksTom, what you are seeing in the backdrop is just a light blue painted wall in my house. Changing the lighting around makes it look blue or gray, etc. with different amounts of light hitting it.

Thanks Craig, there does seem to be a renewed interest in 8th Army with the upcoming P-40 and figures. It's a great line and one I will enjoy adding to in the months ahead.
