Had some time today to do this Pacific Theater layout, a part of my collection I've enjoyed putting together, nice to get some use out of it.........

Ah, so this is the new work you mentioned. Great vegetation, complete with scale palm trees. Another outstanding scene George. Chris

Thanks Chris; I'm working on some Pacific fortifications, will work them into another display soon, glad you like this one.

Thanks Tom, it's been awhile, glad to be back in the saddle, hope you're enjoying your whirlwind tour of the US of A, including your stop at the San Antonio show.

The riverwalk area is a nice spot, some nice restaurants and bars in there, enjoy your time here.................

Evening George,
Ahhhh ... WWII Pacific ... my second favorite era and looks like you "nailed" this one! I just finished watching Halls of Montezuma with Richard Widmark. And oldie but good one....
"Hope is the Mother or all Men."

Your setup reminds me of the big finale when the Marines jump off to take the hills.

Nice!

Thanks Larry; wow, great minds think alike, I just finished watching that one. One of my all time favorites, Windtalkers was on right before it too.................

Thanks George, I'm at the tail end of my trip now and currently at a hotel near LAX. I'll be on the big bird tomorrow for home. Yeah, had a great time in SA and checked out the Riverwalk area. No drunken sessions in any bars along there but I did have a few with big Mike (Mike Miller), Zac, TF Julie, John from Texas (and his family) and Nick from Crown Toy Soldiers. Suffice to say I was a little seedy the next day! ^&grin

Just saw this fantastic layout! Really well done. I do not recognize the figures though. Are they 25mm?
