Looks great, i have just got the winter 88mm AT Gun, which is outstanding.
Saw Price $529.99 and my reaction was a word my mother would have told me off for saying. That is a hefty price, think i'd rather spend my money on a nice new Tiger 1 and have some money left over for 2 new figures.

"Reasonable price" lol. For who? But yes very attractive.

Well done War Park on this lovely release. Love the crew to accompany the vehicle.

Cheers,
Grey

That one, Nashorn and not Narthon, was expensive as well, plus these are things that are covered by painting, why does the weight matter? It is a static display, how can you 'see' the weight!

I collect WP winter stuff and it is excellent, the new 88mm AT Gun is a signature piece, but this release is just too expensive for me, will not bother, first winter release i have not bought. WP are getting a little greedy and increasing prices above what the market will take, there are better choices from K & C and JJD out there for the money. The TS market is very competitive at the moment and there is a lot out there to buy.

Not commenting negatively on the quality of this piece because it does look outstanding.

What would you say is a better choice from K & C?

NIce to see some SP artillery, realistic poses for the gunners, so top marks.

Hi

For the money i would say the New Tiger 1 from K & C is a better choice, not a like for like AFV, but in the TS market those are the choices. I would also say the new JJD Iceni Chariot, completely different era and 'vehicle' but both are after the money from the same pool, the TS buyer. I mention those as i collect all three eras/series, plus Trojans. Things are really competitive in our hobby, i cannot remember having such a wide choice or eras, conflicts and to some extent manufacturers to choose from. When something new comes out and i price it up, it is not only whether or not the item is worth the money, but what else can i get for my ever expanding collection for the same amount of money! Just an opinion, i think the quality looks outstanding, I have the winter Nashorn, which i think is brilliant, managed to pick it up for £280, i got a bargain, that was worth it, for me.

Here are some pics of my display with the new War Park Hummel SPG. Overall, it is a very nice model with excellent paint applications, and weathering. It comes with some extra accessories not shown in the promo photos including spent propellant casings and a crate top/boards on which to place ammunition at the ready (neat little historical detail). I’m not sure the use of the metal in the hull construction added all that much to the model; I was also disappointed the driver’s hatches are molded shut, unlike in the Nashorns. Still, it’s another nice effort by War Park!
