I was looking at the King and Country site just now and they have taken off the ME 410 and the Swordfish, meaning it's all sold out now. The only remaining Warbird is the early war version of the Westland Whirlwind.

Hi Brad-

Those latest releases were great. I am very happy with the Arado Ar 196. It worths every penny. No doubts that I would had like to also bought the Me 410 and the Fairy Swordfish but I had to make choices. Hard, hard.

Pierre.

I just received my B-25 today and all I can say is WOW!!!!!

I have 1 of each plane made so far except the P-38 and Fairey Swordfish. I really love these planes. I can't wait for more!

I spoke to our friend Tim Tyler today and he said that he has a ME-410 in stock....he had a client that had to back out of the purchase for some personal reasons...nice guy that Tim is. :) So if you are looking for the 410 give him a call.

According to Bill Sager's website, several different versions of the Corsair are forthcoming, U.S. Navy, U.S. Marines, RAF Fleet Air Arm, French Navy.

I received my 40th birthday present today (the Doolittle Raider), and it is absolutely magnificent. The interior details in the nose, the cockpit and the dorsal turret are unbelievable. Between the new K&C Warbirds and the Figarti B17, airpower enthusiasts are going to be well pleased. Now would somebody please make some (preferably affordable) air, ground and deck crew, fuel bowsers, fire engines, ambulances, and airfield diorama pieces to complement these incredible aircraft!!!

I have an idea - HOW ABOUT AN AFFORDABLE WARBIRD ! ;)

I know these are very rare and limited detail models - but, I cant bring myself to spending $800 - $1000 for one model. Just think what you buy with that one purchase ! How many sets that could be had !

I would like an affordable Warbird - $250 - $350 Range. Understanding that costs of production have gone up - it would be nice to have something in mass production out on the market to support the AK Range or the WS Range with the Ramjammer - wouldnt it ?

I honestly believe that theere is a market for these Warbirds from K&C

And dont tell me it cant be done for that price - because other Airplane Model Companies are doing it now !

Ron

Ron, I tend to agree but to get the price around $300 the production run would have to be much higher than the present limited issues and the 1/32 market is already saturated with much cheaper versions.

However I still feel there is an untaped market in the more ground related protoypes such as spotter aircraft, transports and gliders etc.

In any case I'm not sure that the present manufacturer could handle the significant increase in production required as I understand they are a cottage type of producer, but I could be wrong about that.

Polystone!!!

Oh, please! I just checked the K&C website & all of their Warbirds are now spoken for-the last temptation (Whirlwind) has been temporarily removed-in fact there is no section at all listed. I am still lighting candles for a Mosquito and or Beaufighter. I must agree though-any polystone aircraft would be great as I do love the Corsair & Me 109 that I have in the collection. Of course, future ground crew sets would have to be issued!

Yes they are very expensive and put a huge dent in the credit card but they are sweet dude. I guess I just like planes too much. The only bummer is that I have to be more selective in the regular K&C sets I buy. But I'm all for more affordable communist Chinese labor - ok that was tongue in cheek, I'm a jerk for bringing it up(again).

Take Care

Wow, that is awesome. Really cool. Expensive but worth it. Best cockpit work I've seen. Can't wait to see it in person.

Ahhhhh. Any corsairs forthcoming??
Bill,
KX1A

Well if you 'scramble' over to the K&C website , there appears to be a Fleet of corsairs and a hellcat, 10 available of each:) only $6.95 and $7.95:D:D:D Think I missed a decimal point or two there

Oh man those look great! I am going to have to get one of each . . . I just hope they are around long enough for to afford them!

Here are photos from the website. Hellcat and then Corsair.

As much as I love these Warbirds (and I just sent an e-mail to order one of the Corsairs) it just isn't fun collecting them without the pilots, groundcrew, and support vehicles to display them with. I am a toy soldier collector, and K&C is a toy soldier company, so I hope that there are some toy soldiers to go with these aircraft sometime soon.

WELL SAID! I am patiently awaiting the K&C aircrew & vehicle bombong offensive. Just say the word & "OPERATION PRE-ORDER" will be launched!
