I've been experiencing some difficulties with the treefrog website. It has been very slow to open over the last month or so. Also fails to open on some occasions. Fairly sure it isn't just me since I have tried from different computers.

I am having the same problems on two computers. Safari and Firefox having trouble connecting. Lately it has been taking time to get through and then you can't read threads. Leadmen

Glad to hear I'm not the only one with problems with this site. Okay, okay so I have a low cost, low tech dial-up service, but this is the only site that is painfully slowwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwww. What's up?

Fred

High speed internet connection here, and there is something wrong .Not a clue what or why.
fub:confused:

Fubar: I also have high speed service and I noticed the site getting slower and slower. Today it has a red light. Just waiting in traffic. Might as well gone to the mall. John:)

Pete and Shannon are working on the problem. I don't think Shannon wants to hear my complaints anymore.

Yes, me too. Count me in as one who is experiencing problems. Ths website is very, very slow to load a page. It took me 30 minutes just to get this response posted.

Also, am I the only one, but I still do not see the website feature where one can view items at 360 degrees. I hear that it is available, but I never see it when I am on here.

Trust me - we are as fed up with the slow web site as anyone!!

I think we located the problem and have it fixed. Let us know if it's moving along better now. If not we'll be looking into moving to a new web server.

The 360 degree images are on the individual item web pages of our web site. We have a long way to go before we have every item available, but we're working towards that goal.

Much better now.:) I have access to a T3 DSL at work, among the fastest connection you can get in the civilian world, and it has been a real struggle:( , until now. Keep up the good work Pete and Shannon.:) :)

I'm still experiencing problems with the forum page.

Better but still running slow. Both my computers are slow to load the site.

I,m glad to hear its the site that was slow and not my computor, I thought I had a virus in my computor or something. I also have high speed and it was so slow I just shut my computor off and gave up!

As of 12/11 site still plodding along.

We are aware that all of the issues slowing down the Forum have not been resolved. Right now it is running at an unacceptable speed. We have people working to get it fixed. We'll keep you posted.

We apologize for the inconvenience.

Pete

Pete,

Whatever you've done, don't touch it! :)
The site is 10 times faster than yesterday.
I presume you've located the gremlin in the system?

Simon

We would appreciate any other feedback on the current speed of the Forum. We had our people look into it and they optimized a few things. We want to know if it truly making a difference. What do others think?

Pete,

I am receiving much quicker responses. Also, I am not experiencing the "Page cannot be found" message that was occurring very often when I would try to click on a thread. Gosh, what a relief to be able to view each thread when I click the mouse!

Thanks for improving the system. My visits to the forum are much, much more pleasent now!

Warmest personal regards,

Pat
