Welcome Back!! The Forum has a new look! (1 Viewer)

It's much slower.Reminds me of other forum'splatforms or whatever you call it.Comcast who I have is great for changing something as soon as you get use to it.Why oh why can't things be left alone if their running properly.:(:rolleyes:

It may be your ISP (and Comcast is horrible). I haven't noticed any slowing in performance, over this line. I'll see what it's like tonight from home. I'm with a little local ISP, who uses Verizon's lines.

Prost!

Hi Pete, Why did you change the platform? This might have already been answered but I haven't seen it. I did notice that we were down.

This is an upgraded version of the software that we have used from the beginning.

As the internet evolves and adapts, the format of websites has changed. The old format had hit the limit of what it could do. This new format is much more adaptable to current internet trends (the facebook tie-in is an example). It also responds to updated security issues.

This version was annouced about 6 months ago, but we've held off the upgrade until now (to allow them to work out the kinks).

Home computer runs this fine, on the work computer it keeps trying to download "something" - our security won't let it through

Have to say, the more I explore and the more buttons I click, I am enjoying the forum more and more.

I think that had something to do with the Facebook tie-in. I've disabled it for now while the problem is looked into.

It was an issue on the Facebook side of things...the main support forum from the makers of this platform had the same issue last night.
