A few other photographs attached themselves as well. The B-17 and the P-47 - European Theatre 1944.

Again great photos Jack. Is the Wellington in the background 1/72 or 1/48 scale?

Duke

As my fellow poster Fitzgibbon says, they can be any scale you want.

In fact, though, it is 1/48th. There will be a 1/72 in the background soon.

Without thinking, your opinion - Thunderbolt or Corsair?

Hey, I'm a big fan of both the Thunderbolt and Corsair so hard to choose. Corsair is hard to beat for a nice island/Pacific set up, just hope K&C will make a USMC or Navy pilot for the Pacific one day soon along with a Corsair/Wildcat/ or Hellcat. Now that they've made a AVG P-40, maybe it's possible.

Well done mate, I do seem to remember seeing some of those items somewhere before though....:rolleyes2::)
Wayne.

Jack, you need to get some Seabees in to level out the aircraft taxiways and parking areas ect!:rolleyes2:

Awesome birds mate.

Yes you have indeed. With all the talk about rising prices, I am pleased to say that I got all of the RAF figures for a weekend in exchange for fish and chips and a few cans of coke!

And quite right too - well done Sir (and Dad). I was half expecting to see a different period - and here you are talking to the Duke ???:)
Well done Doc; the aircraft are superb of course but the setting and composition are just marvellous.

Thanks Bob! Hope all is well with you.

Really great looking photos of the model planes and the figures!!

Jack, The aircraft in the background work quite well. Much better than a paper backdrop :salute::

Great pics, K&C definitely need some more USAAF planes in aluminum colour to supplement the groundcrews. As much as I like the RAF series I think the USAAF series is languishing a bit and needs a boost. ^&cool
