West Coaster Show - Figarti (PTA Series-USMC) (2 Viewers)

Those are some NICE looking Marines! The vehicles look very good also. The M4A2 and the M3 gun motor carriage (SPM to a Marine) are good choices!

Thanks for the pictures Carlos. The marines look great right down to the K-Bar knives they are wearing. That is the diorama of my dreams with the beach head and island fighting. Many times I thought of a Pacific diorama like the one pictured. The figures look great.

Congratulations to all you Pacific War enthusiasts, finally you have something to be excited about! Its nice to see a major manufacturer stepping up to the plate and delivering a plethora of vehicles and figures. I really like the camo on those USMC. My favourite piece has to be the one were one Marine is lending a helping hand to his buddy to climb up over an obstacle, great pose!
Truthfully I am unlikely to dabble into this conflict as I'm otherwise "fully engaged" elsewhere however I can appreciate wonderful work. Perhaps I'll pick up one piece for representation.

Awesome pics Carlos; thanks for sharing 'em! You really have a way with that camera of yours; you really captured "the spirit" of that incredible dio. I'm already looking forward to next year! Same time, sample place! Let the fund raising begin :p. My wife and I really enjoyed meeting you. Joe

The feeling is mutual. Will see you in Chicago, right?

OMG, Carlos! I don't know if I can handle the onslaught you described that is Chicago. Even the Westcoaster is somewhat overwhelming to me with all the excitement and whatnot, not to mention the heavy hit the bank account takes ! But perhaps I should go there, as you suggested, as a spectator, more or less, and just essentially perform a naturalistic observation:p. However, I do tend to get caught up in the whirlwind of toy soldier euphoria and sometimes lose my budgetary focus, and that would be a concern going to Chicago. But the built-in financial recovery process from my Westcoaster expenditures may very well be the buffer I need to limit myself to almost entirely "window shopping" in Chicago. It's just a matter of time before I make the trek to IL. Maybe this is the year! I certainly let you know if that's the case! Thanks again,

Joe

Yes. isn't it great that a manufacturer listens to what people want instead of over-doing the same thing..I hope that Figarti continues this line..thanks Figarti - long may you reign!!
