Please can we see pictures?

Did Clive grab any Camels? You can never have too many:D:D

Cheers

I'm sure Clive, Hawkeye and Tom may comment but when I talked to Tom briefly on Saturday, he told me he hadn't seen much Trophy yet which, if borne out, seems to be the pattern for Chicago.

Thanks Brad

Tom mentioned Camel artillery pieces, I wonder which sets these were and who (apart from Clive:D) may have snapped them up

Cheers

Clive and I ended up doing quite well. I will get pics up later. Brad, no Sherlocks! SOrry....

Quick notes - we got the camel artillery set, and a box of..................Afghans, perfect at about $10 per figure, a steal. Clive and I split the box.

I found a very old Trophy Figure (Civilian), although looks like a Soldier playing a flute (almost like a retired soldier) It is very early with sticker on the bottom of the figure. Also pinned arms.

Anyhow, I will get some pics up of the Trophy finds.

Hi Martyn,
Just got back from Chicago.
Managed to get a number of single Trophy figures at reasonable prices.
More importantly got them all home safe despite US customs breaking open my suitcase and sifting through everything.
Got a few more Somerset and Trophy camels just to keep the collection moving.
Have to work on the stabling though!!

Post pictures when I can.
Regards
Clive

i saw the camels, 4 of them but i had nothing to go with them. i found some single zulu and crimean figures, a civilan baker and an old retired pensioner. dietz found an elefant durbar set so he was the lucky one. somebody i heard did pick up some ww1 hand to hand sets. over all not much there. i did pick up the somerset gordon khartoum bldg. don't know yet what i will do with it but the price was right. overall as trophy was concerned if you were not there you did not miss much accept for the camraderie of all the collectors which was great.

Thanks for the update Hawkeye, I'm pleased you found some figures. Was the Somerset Gordon Palace the early wooden/plaster building or later resin version?

The supply at the London Show appears to have almost finished unless someone turns up wanting to sell their collection.

Cheers
