Thanks for posting them--I wasn't having any luck finding them.
Hey Sceic2--you must have a whole new scene up by now--how about some pictures?

Peter.

I have saved quite alot of the photo's that members have posted of their collections. I think that it is a great way to share a hobby such as this.

Regards

Jeff

Peter,

I've only been collecting for 2 years and I only collect Napoleonics. I must admit I have never had them on display. When I started buying them, I didn't think I would get that many of them and so I never considered the space needed to display Napoleonics in largish formations. So mine remain stored away until I win the lottery and can build a west wing on to the mansion I haven't got yet :)

Do any of the other Napoleonic collectors actually display their whole collection? I haven't seen too many photos of the K&C Naps in any large numbers..

Kiwi

I don,t have the numbers of K&C figures that Michael has but I do have all the K&C figures in matte finnish released to date and also like to do diorama type set-ups but don,t have any room to leave them set-up so I just put together a quick diorama and take a few pictures and put it all back away again. I have some of the early releases in a display case in the living room but not in a diorama. I want to do some more diorama displays with my K&C figures in the near future but there all packed away all over the place.

When I get a good weekend to myself I,ll try and do a large diorama including most or all of my K&C figures displayed all together, til then here are some of my early sets-ups I did with my K&C figures.

Hey Sceic2--you must have a whole new scene up by now--how about some pictures?

I will try to get some new pictures this weekend.

The poll has a great many options for answering but I could not find one category that fits what I do.

I now have two British squares. One of the 42nd Highlanders with 175 figures on my coffee table and a 71st Light with 160 figures and two Horse Artillery sets on top of the Television.

I moved the remainder of my K&C Napoleonics (about 750) to a Howard Miller Cabinet with my John Jenkins and Frontline crusaders and mounted knights. It's in the dining room.

I keep my K&C, Britians, Honour Bound, New Model Army, and Patriot WWII vehicles and figures in two very large Howard Miller "Village" cabinets in my living room.

In one of my bedrooms I keep my FOV and Minichamps vehicles in a 1500 CD media wall storage case and my 21st Century in a 1000 CD media wall storage case. In the same room I have four large dioramas for my 8th Army, DAK, Battle of Berlin, and D-Day invasion beach vehicles and men.

I love to have them around me so that I can see them everyday and everywhere I look. The only rooms that don't have any are the kitchen and my bedroom, but that's guna happen, its unavoidable with all the new releases that we are getting.

I Have to date five display cabinets totaling 24 shelves,Two cabinets are dioramas only, one cabinet parade only, one with single armoured units, and the last with the Dept 56 Bethlehem collection..ern:)

I have displays and dios. I try to bring them all out on display. Large display cabinet and a smaller one then shelves. They are slowly gaining momentum in the display areas of my apartment.

I have three curio cabinets (20 shelves), all full of K&C items. Whenever friends and family come over, they always check out the new items.:D

Well all I can say to the overwhelming Napoleonic response is..

...I am much humbled..!

Although, suddenly I feel less broke!! :D

Pete, Shannon - many thanks for your help in drumming up some photos!

Jeff, Tim - Thanks heaps for sharing those photos! They look fantastic! Jeff that must be a massive dio with all that massed French infantry? I struggle to keep up with all of the releases, I thought I was doing well amassing 300 combined cavalry and infantry, but I see I have a long way to go..

You guys rock! Have a great and safe Easter all!!

I bought three glass/wooden cabinets to store my K&C D-Day, Waffen SS, LAH, Battle of the Bulge, Afrika Korps and Fields of Battle miniatures.. But like all off us, I should have to build a second house to put them in nice dioramas where they belong..

Greetings,

Ranger

I have a really good sized collection of napoleonics but they are not all K&C. I have lots of britains, frontline, del prado, niena and lots of others also including castings and plastics also. I like to paint and convert figures and have painted up many casting including the great russains that forum member FUBAR makes which I love. Here are just some of my many napoleonics.

Here are some pictures of fubars russain castings that I painted up. I still have a bunch more that are half painted that I,ve got to finnish painting.
He also sells these already painted up on ebay and the paint jobs are great and a real good value for the money.

This is just some of my collection, I have many more and have posted more of it here on the forum somewhere on here and hope to do more dioramas with the many other figures that I have when I get more free time to myself.
Lets keep the napoleonic dioramas coming guys!!! Fubar has also post some incredible napoleonic dioramas that you should check out, there huge!!!

Man tim you have like the whole armee. Very Cool! I was going to say sometimes I take pictures of my soldiers and post them on a toy soldier forum. Ever hear of it?

Tim your Dio's are great. I never understood the Nap War, but the way they fought and calvary charges are cool. I think you got the uniforms down to a science. Nice paint jobs. The new K&C stuff looks great. With what you can do with conversions, I hope Conte puts out a Nap series in the future. Great pics, Mike.

Does Conte have any children I can kidnap and hold hostage till we can get him to make some plastic napoleonics!:p I said it before and I,ll say it again,If he would come out with napoleonic as good as those G.I.s and with as many poses it would be pure heaven!
