Hey about some positive remarks on our favorite Toy Soldier Maker?

What do you like most about King and Country ?? Lets hear the things that Andy and Company does right and great !! We all have our little nitpicks - but, lets talk about the Wonderful Things we get and hold dear from King & Country.........

Everyone jump in and let Andy know - What We Love !! :D

To be honest Ron what I like most from K and C apart from their quality product is that the whole system works. There is no major delay between marketing and sales. If K and C say this set is comming out next month it does. We don't have to wait for ever and put up with endless delays. In that sense Andy is a great businessman.

Regards
Damian

I really like the small fine details that go into the armour and the figures. Every time I really look at one of the pieces in my collection I seem to notice something new!!! Its all good

The Streets of Old Hong Kong serie and the new Warbirds.

Pierre.

The same goes for me ,it is a real mission to get hold of some products
but K and C is a cut above when it comes to marketing and availibility of
their product.

They have constant new releases which is great because you don't have to wait
6 seasons for new releases(cough britains cough). The detail is fantastic and the figures are exiting and colorful. Thanks Andy!!!:D:D:D

Hey Guy's
King & Country is an originator and the original......we as the Neville's saw that in 1994 and still see it now..........so is K&C any good? Just look at all the "me too companies" out there now!

Many things. Bottom line is the product is top notch. Andy is also a real nice guy and interested in hearing thought out suggestions.

To me, they do a great job of filling the "Value gap" in that it satisfies the "Bang for my buck" litmus test (good Lord, how many quotes can I use??). Any of us can get better looking figs from St. Pete but compared to the quantity and breadth of selection KC is the winner hands down. When I read posts like this I always hear of criticisims of historical accuracy and things like that. All I know, is that when I was in "Nervous in the Service", we really could care less if we had the correct 15mm Hummer halfshaft to cover the right front gearhub or whether or not our Bradley turrets were in correct camo schemes or whatever. We just wanted the equipment to assist us in Shooting, Moving and Communicating and ultimately achieving our warfighter missions. But I think these types of nuances highlight the different reasons why certain people collect- some want historically accurate equipment and weapons and troops- others just want great look dios- which is me. At the end of the day, KC is the the best in enabling the collector to put enough lead on the table to create a true Shock and Awe diorama.

I also enjoy the civilizations lines that they do, gives a nice break from the war thrust of the hobby.

I will freely admit though that they aren't my favorite company- no company is really my favorite but they comprise most of my figures just because their selection is so expansive. I will admit that there is a certain historical time period that I am collecting now that KC hasn't touched and that will result in some of the other companies knocking them off the top rung for the balance of this year's defense budget and most likely next years as well, which, IMO, is just fine as it spreads the wealth around.

My greatest fear with KC is that they will be a victim of their own success and overhype themselves out of the market. From no fault of their own, they have a rabid fan base and I for one can suffer sometimes from overexposure. I just hope it doesn't happen here- I guess the best analogy I can think of is the New York Yankees, or the Chicago Bulls or the NE Patriots-good grief, I am sick of hearing of those teams- yeah they were great but enough already anyway, I just hope this doesn't turn into that scenario.

STANDS ALONE!!

What I like most about K&C is the people, starting with Andy and Gordon Neilson, whose creativity and responsiveness are unparalleled, as well as Tammi and the other folks I deal with via e-mail in Hong Kong, on through the best bunch of dealers you could ever ask for, to the most interesting bunch of fellow collectors a guy could ever ask for.

As far as the product goes, I love (1) the figures themselves, which clearly give you the best bang for your buck in the industry, (2) the new strictly limited aircraft, which are the highest quality aircraft models I've seen, (3) the custom dioramas, which are as real as I can imagine, and (4) the latest wheeled vehicles with clear windows and interior cab detail.

Finally, I, as a long time collector, have loved getting to know Andy and watching him take a small "also ran" company and using a long string of innovations, improvements and responsive ideas to turn it into the 800 pound gorilla of the industry.

I love the way Andy has designed the Napoleonic British troops...special care has been taken as well as great attention to detail. For example... the sculpting, paint etc......they all are specially designed to look great, repeating history as they kick Napoleons BUTT around the battle field. As for I and my cup of tea...we watch with great pleasure...

WELLINGTON......:)

Gentlemen (and HRH)

I think everyone knows "I drink the Coolaide" when it come to K&C !! :D

Not to say I have my differences too. But, Overall - King and Country is the complete package - My Qua !! (a Jerry Magurie ref.). Everything is there from variety in Ranges, Service and Sales, Andy - the Grand Master - himself and THE BEST TOY SOLDIERS IN THE WORLD !!

I mean no disrespect for the others - I have many producers in my collection. But, Andy - K&C is the best!!

The world without King and Country is like a day without Sunshine ! :)

IMO.

No it isn't:D

My toy soldier collection is very modest at the moment - less then one hundred pieces. I have only been collecting for a short time, and have a number of other hobbies I like to indulge as well.

I came across K+C by accident when I walked into a local book and model shop near where I live and was completely bowled over by them. They had a number of the LAH, SA, SS and Wehrmacht ranges on display and I fell in love with them at once. I then started buying TSMF magazine and scouring the internet to look at other makers, ranges etc. to acquaint myself more fully with what was on offer.

A novice I may be, but IMHO K+C figures are the best on the market - their range is exceptional, being both extensive and varied, and the quality of the animation and finish is second to none - without a doubt they represent extremely good value for money. As for what I like most, well, I can honestly say I like them all - but can't afford to buy everything, therefore I specialise in their WW2 SS and LAH ranges - being new to the hobby I've got my work cut out keeping up with that lot - all good fun though - :D

I Like That K And C Is Always Coming Out With New Items And Ranges. You Don't Have To Wait Long For Something New. I Would Like To See More Modern Ranges To Come Out Again.

I've said it before and I'll say it again, I consider collecting K&C as others might consider collecting art. For me K&C is truly art, the design, subject matter and painting have kept me in awe since I saw my first examples in 1996. the personel hand painting and limited numbers simply put an exclamation point on it all.
