It was a fine dive bomber Wayne, it was the Luftwaffe commander's fault it suffered as it was not designed to face Spits and Hurricanes, when they took away its protection the blame was theirs. To fly across the channel in one of these knowing you were up against two of the most modern fighter planes in the world took real guts.
