What do you think the next era group of plastic soldiers will be from? Like Civil War, Ancient Egypt, WW 1?

If I were to take a guess at it and say....................Napoleonics. At this point I would just as well wait for the first batch to be released before second guessing {sm2}

What I'd like to see is the re-release of 'retired' figures but in the new material. I'm thinking in particular of Napoleonics. I think it's a great chance to do some of the older units like the German Legion, earlier French cavalry and 71st Foot to come out again. It wouldn't threaten the value of existing figures but it'd allow people - me - to obtain these marvelous figures.

I am with you but you may be confusing what you want it to be and what it will be. I give the re-release no chance. The ranges will mix but there won't be that kind of cross over.

Hi Guys,

“Flyboy” wonders what’s coming next in our plastic soldiers series…? Might I humbly suggest that we get to release our first series before jumping ahead to others.

I appreciate your enthusiasm but…first things first.

Best wishes and happy collecting!

Very good idea....could apply to lots of era's and possibly start a new trend in collecting.....I hate painting but if I could obtain non painted figure's I am interested in I might be able to find the loot to start a small collection...I have no idea how it could be done...but...maybe a small venture to test the market ?.....regards TomB

Well said Andy

The only thing worse than having your toy soldier release talked about is not having your toy soldier release talked about.

Oscar Wilde, Irish dramatist, novelist, & poet (1854 - 1900)

Who would have though big Oscar collected TS?

I was wondering why nearly all of the marching LAH figures were being obsoleted. Now I know why!

Nope. Since the new figures were shown in OZ, the have lobbied for the next multiple figure sets be of an ALH pub crawl. ^&grin

Terry

You would definitely need a casualty figure or two.

and that would just be the diggers, then you would have a dozen or so further figures of other nationalities that would be involved in the melee... :rolleyes2:{sm4}
