What do you want most in 2011 from Jenkins (1 Viewer)

Jeff...please don't...I really like that guy and I don't want to give him a heart attack...

Mike, John was alright with the list at the show last March :rolleyes: I'm sure that if I get more beer in this time round you will be a very happy bunny! ;):D

Jeff

for me it would be a British WW1 ground crew ......and some building to display beside my Sopwith.....

Chippawa...
I would like...
officers for the US artillery crew...(telescope pose...etc...)
a British artillery crew of equal size to the US Army crew...with officers...
Six Nations Indians for the US side ...
Native warriors (Western and Grand Nation) for the British side...
Dragoons...19th Light dragoons for Horton's Charge...

St. Francis...
I had always understood this series to be in 3 parts...
1) the peaceful fort/cabins and whaleboats
2) the peaceful Indian village
3) the attack and escape of St. Francis...
I'm assuming parts 1 and 2 are pretty much finished...but I would still like another set or two of peaceful civilians for the cabins and fort...I rarely get to use my cabins and Ranger huts and would like some new figures for peaceful dioramas...
I would also like...
Rangers attacking St. Francis...
dead/wounded Indian set for the village...
Rangers fleeing St. Francis...
French/Indians chasing and fighting the fleeing Rangers...
a capture vignettes of Rangers...

Culloden Moor...
Dragoons...
Lowlanders...
Royal Ecossois...
artillery crew for British side...
a nice section (2-6" sections) of the Culwhiniac Parks stone wall...

Sudan and Carillion are too early to start asking...

but for Carillion...
I really think we need some dead Highlanders caught up in the abattis...

for Sudan...
I hope we get some large scale officer crews commanding a square...
a couple of sets of wounded/dead Mahdist...

put these on your list John...

I would like them all next month please...:p

I'm glad you don't want to much Mike.:DKidding aside I'm glad to see so many non FIW collectors taking notice of John's work.Those WWI planes seem to be a big hit.JJ seems to be a person who enjoys his work and also making his collectors happy.A true credit to the hobby.John I hope you have a great year.

Mark...from my conversations...he seems like the nicest guy you could imagine...also he mentioned he was pleased with the success of the planes...I have not heard any negative comments on them...just the opposite...there seems to be quite as bit of praise on the accuracy...

Yes Mike everyone likes his planes.I'm not going to collect them but you don't have to collect them to admire them.With all the ranges he has he is going to be very busy this year.

Mike,
I subscribe ‘in toto’ all your wishes mainly regarding the St. Francis collection and more figures for peaceful dioramas.

I’d add just some items for my loved FIW period :
a long canoe with rowing Indians and French officers/soldiers on board;
a pair of French Marines carrying a canoe on shoulders;
a French Missionary for Indian village (to balance the Army Chaplain Hughes.. eh eh eh!!);
a new British artillery crew;
a British or Provincial guard line present arms with Officer and Drummer… to use as a sentry too;
a long waited British boat landing troop;
a couple of accessories sets for the Indian village (fire, furs, crockery, dogs…) and the British or French Fort (table, chairs, barrels, stairs, muskets, tricorns….);
walls for Quebec City to add to the St.Louis Gateway.

Come on John, from our fans you have got heaps of ideas for the next ten years!!!

Carlo

I like this idea Carlo...I would love some FIW props for a diorama...fire, furs, crockery, dogs…

CARLO.....
Great list. John must read these posts, I am sure
we will get some in the near future. He must have a lot on
his mind for a while. I really enjoy your dioramas and MIKES
the Texas Ranger,

I would like a platoon of Rangers led by Rogers, with Indian scouts sulking thru the deep forest...

That would be good But even better would be that they made contact with a group of French/Indians led by Langy.:smile2::):D^&grin

I would like to see Robert Rogers and some Rangers for
St. Francis, and personality figures for Ticonderoga.

Extra weapons, supplies, canoes, etc. Basically, any accessories for the FIW range as a set or as individual pieces for sale including pieces already available or retired like the supplies and guns being sold to Indians in the French Trader set, canoes sold separately -- both the "waterline" and non-waterline (with partial keel), barrels, sacks, and so on. I think a line of Jenkins accessories for all the ranges produces would be hot-selling items.

I agree your requests, any accessory woul be highly appreciated.
Concerning this I received from John the picture enclosed of the new Supply Wagon next to release. Long waited I believe this will be a beautiful add to any FIW diorama.
Carlo
