Hey dudes:

Seeing as how I am a predominatly K&C collector, I thought that I would put this under the current thread. Not sure what to put with the below dio scence. I am thinking Union ACW in some sort of Pennisula Campaign. Another other thoughts or comments are more than welcome. By the way, I didnt make this dio scene. I bought it from Hobby Bunker at the Chicago Show.

Keep it silly

i'm thinking canon or mortar or some sort of projectile device in the 'tower' and sharp shooters, sentries from any era...very nice piece ..have fun:D

Dude

That is a really nice piece of kit you picked up there-tend to agree with Jeff it lends itself- from your pictures- more to a WWI scene. However, if you are keen on a ACW dio I would go for a Confederate gun emplacement at the siege of Petersburg the birthplace of trench warfare-but not sure the Rebs tiled the floors of their trenches though:D

Good luck with whatever you decide

Reb

I agree with the WWI suggestions. I see it a centuries old tower/structure that has been occupied and fortified by one of the two sides.

That's a neat piece. How about a WW1 scene, say on the southern Westfront, like the Vosges? Looks kinda Hartmannswillerkopf to me, so early French and German or mid-war period figures could fit. Could also be WW1 Italian Front, except no one makes those figures. -- lancer

Maybe a Crimean era coastal battery? With mortar barge or gunboat offshore:cool:

Ok dudes, took the forums advice and went WWI Germans on this dio. Also had KGB paint the Lee's belongings set to somewhat fit with this dio. Nothing like a razor blade, a smidge of drywall putty and paint to make this set cut to fit and paint to match. Maybe tomorrow I can finish those paint by numbers books I have laying around. Keep it silly dudes.

Turned out very well indeed! Lots of little details built into this - your wife made a good job on the re-painting. :)

Yea those WW1 figures look really good with it. I have just started collecting the later war 1917 figures.

Great looking set up!:cool: I thought you had a tatoo of a bazooka guy . . . looks like you added a mine sweeper guy.

A fine job. Looks VERY WW1. Figures look purpose made for the base. -- lancer

Hey dudes, thanks for the kind words. Yes I did get inked again, this time on the other arm with the mine sweeper. Not sure what to get next ink wise, was thinking maybe the guy with rife over his head on my back. Or maybe putting K&C UK's Lord Cardigan as a full back tat. KGB might bury me somewhere if I pull that stunt. I got the mine sweeper without her even knowing about it and she about flipped.

Keep it silly

Wonder what she'd do if you got a Mortar team inked, one on each butt cheek.;)
