What I got for Christmas (1 Viewer)

Ron,

You are indeed a lucky guy, but then again arent we all because if they didnt like the hobby they would probably find a way to make it difficult for us. Still, any gal that will drop a grand on Crusaders and Saracens for her guy is a keeper!

All the best

Dave

Dave

Thanks, I think she is special. :D

Guys - I am not trying to rub it in - but, she also bought me a Box of Padron 1964 Annv. Spec. & a Nationals Hawaiian Shirt!

BIG TIME KEEPER :) ;)

Wow:eek: now that sounds pretty cool! I bet those Padrons will be really smooth! As for the Nationals well they're a far cry from the old Senators but at least theres a team in DC again!

Dave:

Box is already open and yes - very smooth :)

Have you ever smoked the Padron Anniversario Pyramids (not the torpedos, Pyramids)? They are my favorite cigars, I would rather smoke a pyramid than any Cuban I have ever tried. Oh, did I mention that there will be a Dunhill Humidor in the Museum? Can you guess what I keep it full of?

I second, third and fourth that. And, you should marry her after that.

I supposedly smoked a cuban once, and while it packed a punch it was about the worst dog rocket I had ever fired up. Now, Puros that was a great cigar I thought. Don't remember trying Padrons. Quit smoking gars because they gave me heart burn:eek:

Hi Guys,

Funny how the discussion turns and changes here. I have smoked a few Cuban Cigars and have to tell you that the Cohibas I used to be able to get in Mexico were just Top Notch as were the ones my wife brought home for me one year after a TDY trip to Germany. TDY = Temporary Duty. Army-ese for a Business Trip. But lets get back to the business at hand and find out what other folks got from old St Nick.

All the best

Louis:

I have had the Pyramids - very tasty - but, Montecrisco #2 - well that is top drawer for me. Dunhill's huh...very nice. I am also a big fan of Fuente Opus X. Sounds like cigars all around in March. :D

Will do. Looks like August for us. My birthday was on the 11th and she got me a Curio Cabinet for my Office to give more space for the Toy Soldier Collection.....
