What is the most thought provoking purchase that you've made?
You can choose any era, any figure, any structure or any vehicle.
It can be his pose, his expression, the paint job.........whatever reason you choose........what piece makes you "think the hardest" when you look at it?
What piece do you look at........that really defines it's era?
The piece that tells the "best story" in your mind.
This guy pushes all my buttons.
I love his pose, his painting and all the accessories of the spoils of battle he carries with him.
K&C BR051.
To me, he stirs a certain uneasy feeling about the brutality and savagery of the French Indian War.
So grim.....so brutal.....so direct.....so intense.
Looking at him, I can almost imagine the dead soldiers that contributed to his commandeered baggage.
The British hat, the British coat, the British flag used for a saddle, his painted face, the 5 rifles, the canteens, the back packs, the satchels.
Every time I look at him, I think of the British soldiers that laid dead, while he plundered their equipment.
Which figure pushes your buttons?
