What Jagdtiger version would you want?? (1 Viewer)

I think this would be a good scheme and probably the best to do. Would like to see it as Carious last tiger and, would like to see a few skits missing if any put on at all as it just looks much better IMO without them
Mitch

I agree completely....Mitch....This would be excellent with no side skirts

Well Andy has answered some of the questions as the Jagdtiger will have three crew and opening hatches. Now as the box is being designed perhaps one preview pic of this awesome AFV could slip on the site???

I would definitely like an ambush camo pattern. Having said that this vehicle is not high on my buy list ( priority to WW1 & 2 planes) and if its a SL I'll probably miss it as it will be sold out long before I get around to buying it. Even though it's likely to be very expensive I doubt it will hang around as long as the SL American tank recovery vehicle. I hope its not a limited issue because then at some future date I will likely add it to my panzer collection.

I suppose its a hard one for Andy when it was talked about and he decided to let us know that he was doing one and, that it was in pre production many were not enamoured with the idea apart from myself and Hawkeye who have wanted this version for a long time others were but, I recall most were not of the mind that it would either not be popular or, could not see the attraction.

I think these considerations may make him think a limit may be a good idea than not, as has been brought up the most expensive release is still available though, that IMO is more down to what it is more than its price.

I think if you have a good relationship with a dealer and want a set like this then surely they would offer layaway if they know you are a good customer and will get more that way its a win win for everyone involved.

I suspect that design considerations may make the model have the barrell lock in the travel position - but it would be nice to have it in the action postion though. The Jagdtiger did not see service in the BUlge but was employed in the follow on Operation Nordwind in Alsace where at least one was totally destroyed by a flank shot from a M-36. As long as Andy can resist the temptation to have the crew in Waffen -SS uniform all the Jagdtigers historically were manned by Wehrmacht crews.

Graycap...

I would suspect that money could be placed on the fact that it will be the last tiger of the very nice Mr Carius.
