How about a set or figures based on a short story by Bill Mauldin, called "Gone Goose". I remember reading it in "Boy's Life", back in the day.

It featured his characters Willie and Joe, and I think it was set somewhere on the Italian front, at Christmas 1944.

The story was that there was a farm in no man's land between the American and German lines, where a live goose was roaming. Both sides saw it at the same time, and a skirmish ensued as they tried to outflank each other and get the bird.

I think the Germans got the goose, but in a show of Christmas spirit, tossed a bottle of wine over to the Americans. The punchline of the story was that Willie or Joe mistook the bottle for a potato masher, threw himself on it to save his buddies, and shattered the bottle.

Makes a great little story.

How about Santa setting up another poll at the North Pole!

I doubt it's Romans unless Andy makes a few lions.

How about something like

Vera Lynn on a stage (singing to the troops)

Sexy Mrs. Claus delivering pressies to a couple of soldiers

or perhaps a soldier of some type (dragoon, lancer etc...) on horseback handing gifts to a couple of children.

vignette of a christmas tree, fire, radio and a family huddled round listening to the latest developments, maybe with a small boy playing with his toy soldiers.

It couldn't be romans or barbarians. There never did anything like that.

Or how about von Rall and his officers playing cards Christmas night, with the Tory farmer who give him a note that Washington was crossing the river standing there?

Or Washington and his officers supervising the crossing?

I should be Misses Santa... Just for the wife.

Gotta say Crusades. Seems to me the Holy Land as a backdrop and Christmas as the season would make a nice collectible set. JMHO

WW2 is what I collect, but it would be cool to see the Christmas Truce of 1914. Maybe some Brits and Germans playing soccer or trading hats.

How about Father Christmas delivering a whole lot of cool presents to Ramses II. I think that would be so cool. You kow Santa Claus in warm tropicla environement.

How about Santa, squating beside "Donner and Blitzen" taking a great big......No forget it......!!!

How about a serviceman being welcomed home by his family on xmas leave?.
