Hi Chaps

Have I missed them or does anybody know anything about the next releases?

Regards

Glynn

There has been nohting posted regarding January 2015 releases. That's probably because the December 2014 releases were late in arriving at the retailer locations. It appears that Treefrog Treasures just got the December 2014 releases yesterday . . . . . at least since yesterday the Treefrog site no longer has the December figures as a pre-order. Because of this I wasn't expecting a new release update until the end of January for delivery in February . . . .

Been almost 2 months since we have had a JJD new release annoncement. I'm beginning to get the DT's.{eek3} -- Al

I have only the upmost admiration for John and his organisation. In comparison to accompany the size of K&C ( for which I also have the upmost respect) Johns output is phenomenal ( I worry that he will work himself into the ground).

If John has had a relaxing winter break that is both a good thing and well deserved. As stated in the December thread Johns work is equal to the renaissance masters.

John is a courteous and knowledgeable man who replies to e-mails from the collector with obvious interest in what's being said.

All this being true I am still obsessively looking out for any scrap of news as to what's around the corner.

Well here's to my next releases.

I think John has been up to his eyeballs lately getting stuff ready before the Chinese New Year kicks in in China. I'm sure lots of superb releases are in the pipeline!

I'm a relatively new collector to JJ. I only started collecting his soldiers when he started the Peninsular War range. I'm hoping for some British infantry to be released soon to accompany the Royal Artillery. I've also recently become interested in his 1812 series. Hopefully, he will have some time to make some new figures for it this year, since I missed out on most of the Scott's Brigade figures and a few of the Royal Scots.
Cheers,
Brendan

I can't wait to see the first two new Brit artillery gunners. I got the Osprey Raid book 'Montcalm's Crushing Blow' very nice and interesting. Inside there is a stunning coloured table by Peter Dennis of a British battery at Fort Oswego (1756).
Cheers

I haven't even received the announced December 2014 WWI releases yet (although they should be delivered today ^&grin) and yet I am very anxious to see what is next . . . . crazzzzzzzy . . .

It’s almost time for the announcement of 2015 JJD Membership set(s) and 2014 Annual. I am hoping for announcement of a new series that would include English Archers.

From previous correspondence with john I know there is an exciting new series in the works.....
Also more SYW Austrians and Prussians...
Many more WWI releases.

Handy adjustment losing a month. Suggest JJD will now get back to their usual schedule, February releases announced around 19/20th January. Robin.

Thanks for the heads up! Although I'm glad that people who are interested in Chinese history will get something, I'm still hoping for more additions to the War of 1812 and Peninsular War series.
Cheers,
Brendan

This is my first posting to this forum. I just received my latest figure from JJD. It is the Sergeant of the 60th RAR or Royal American Regiment, F&I War. It is outstanding! It's late arrival just increased my anticipation. I hope JJD continues to create mor great F&I figures. Particularly the 60th RAR. I reenact this time period and the honor of being in the 60th RAR. Hmm....mentioning 'proposed' new series' is pure speculation until the series' are actually released.

Just a thought.

I've been cured! John has posted the releases on Sunday evening here on the Eastern seaboard so I will now be able to sleep without the night sweats. And it has been worth the wait. Lots of great stuff. ^&grin -- Al

Well I can only say the wait was at times painful but oh boy was it worth it!!! Way to go John, you never disappoint.
