Just curious what other hobbies you guys have, and if you at one point or another had to sacrifice it to buy more k&C soldiers. I collect Star Wars figures as well, and have since I was a kid, at moments I think of how many more soldiers I could buy if I sell my collection....Anybody have a similar situation?

:) I go to the Beach and watch Bikini's all day long; and drink cold beer; and Fish! Florida, USA!

I think Ron and I are going to make a recon trip to check out John's "hobby." :D

I've only been collecting K&C for about a year and a half. Up until discovering K&C I was mainly interested in comics especially old stuff from the 50's and 60's. I still get a few comic titles but sadly have had to cut back on the expensive back issues to afford more K&C items.

As a kid I was always interested in comics and toy soldiers and have now gravitated back to both hobbies in my adult life after the usual period away (you know, the adolescent years, chasing girls, studying, establishing a career etc).

I'm also a cartoonist and have an avid interest in cartooning and illustration.

Oh, and I'm interested in alternative music.

Having a child (I only have one but it can feel like three or four on occasion) is not a hobby, it's an occupation :)

If you are not careful John's hobby will get you into Shark's hobby. We can all still window shop thou.

I only had two teenaged girls to raise, but I didn't have a wife, so it seemed as though I had Eight.

I think bikini watching would be a lot more fun.

I find out Friday if baby number two is a boy or a girl. I guess from what you guys are saying, I should be hoping for another son!

I've got two sons and a daughter, guess which is the hardest work? So you have my greatest sympathy having three of the little angels :D

Funny thing Louis- they say the one of each type is the million dollar family- I am here to tell you- IT AIN'T SO- you get the million bucks in expenses just not the million dollars in cash receipts:D

Keep us updated and a big CONGRATULATIONS!!

Here are my hobbies:

1.) I do collect some GI Joe figures but haven't really bought any in a while;
2.) throwing rocks at my neighbor's dog and blaming it on my kids;
3.) filing nuisane lawsuits to get companies to settle for undisclosed sums of money so that I can buy more toy soldiers;
4.) tailgating Pa State Police cars at speeds of 85 mph or more;
5.) going 45 mph in the left hand lane during morning rush hour and watching everyone go insane;
6.) throughly love walking in the woods or spending time in the park where it is quiet and I can be by myself;
7.) running, lifting and cycling;
8.) walking barefoot on a freshly cut lawn;
9.) starting and finishing arguments with my kids simply because I am the Dad and I can;
10.) picketing, protesting or just generally annoying anyone involved with real estate development- especially when it involves tearing up beautiful Pa farmland to put in yet another Sheetz, Wal Mart or Target;

and finally-

- bathing and grooming- seasonal hobby only!! :D:D

Chris,

Great list. Had a great laugh. It would seem that 3 and 4 cancel each either out, monetary wise :D

Regarding number 9, those days are long behind me (my son is 16) because my wife will say to me "who's the adult" and my son shakes his head in mock disappointment. You just can't win:(
