Great looking figures Louis! Thanks for sharing your latest additions with us.

To satisfy my curiosity about " composite " figures, I bought a lot, including Leyla, Elastolin, Shusso, F.F. ( Friedhold Fischer ) and 4 unknowns makers

My new Honour Bound Russian snipers arrived and are on display with a Figarti Prototype of a T-34 attacking Honour Bound winter Germans on a Ken Osen (Hudson & Allen) Eastern Front winter diorama:

I have added the following to my humble collection:

Thomas Gunn SS Sniper set SS108
William Britains German Flak 36 set (on route from the States)
William Britains Volksgrenadier kneeling with MP40 in parka
First Legion Mass Battle wounded kneeling British 30th Regiment Napoleonic
Kronprinz French Light Fusilier standing firing musket Napoleonic
William Britains 25049 German volksgrenadier in parka kneeling with a K98
William Britain BR25077 German Volksgrenidier standing with Ammo in Great coat
William Britains BR25122 Waffen SS unterscarfuhrer walking in winter
William Briatins BR25123 Waffen SS Hauptscharfuhrer walking in winter

Luftwaffe reinforcements arrived from Italy today, these arrived from TSRARE, ordered mid last week, great service, but tracking them they came an odd route, i live in Bristol - Italy to Paris [OK], Paris to Stansted UK [OK], Stansted to Newcastle [??] then on to Bristol.

I got 4 K & C WW2 Luftwaffe Reg sets
LW018Section Leader
LW019MG Team
LW023Advancing Set
LW024Prone Firing - Rifle

I am missing 1 set from the LE Reg, but will pick it up at some point.

The WSS124 Flamethrower set.

Always nice to 'fill in the gaps' in my collection and these pieces are very good and have stood the test of time.

Also added to my Saxon Shield Wall with SX14/15/16B, my Fyrd shield wall is now up to 15 figures, with 7 attacking Vikings, it may grow but that depends on the 'Ealdorman' funds, which are being stretched.

I picked up a couple of Trophy WWI Doughboy sets, wearing Park Ranger style hats (I already had the sets wearing steel helmets), including Head of the Column:

Napoleon's Field Kitchen has just landed here from France this morning ....

MHSP kitchen.jpg

Made by MHSP and part of a set of figures, I have been looking for this part for some time, but when it was offered as a complete vehicle ( wagon, limber, 2 horses driver and rider) I jumped at that.

I also got two other personality figures from that set, Roustam, Napoleon's man servant and a mounted Constant, his first valet.

These should keep me busy of the coming winter, and I'll post images of the completed vehicle when it's got a 'lick of paint'

Forgot to mention that I could not resist to FL NAP0687 Swiss 4th Line Infantry Senior NCO with halberd #1 (the one with the red pennant). Just received it!

Thanks to fellow forum member John O'Brien and eBay, I've been able to add King & Country's long retired Horse Artillery of the Imperial Guard to the ranks of the Armée du Nord.

When I saw this vignette on Ebay, I had to have it! I always loved the Nap mamluks and I had never seen that 54mm set anywhere. It is signed Pierre Conrad and while I have many prints from him, I never knew that he also produced this type of vignette. While resin, both details and ensemble are incredible. I spent a little time "washing it" to remove a lot of dust and had to put it back into one piece as it suffered from shipping and many parts were broken. Anyway I am happy with the result as it looks brand new again! If anyone knows who made those and if there are other "Pierre Conrad" vignettes around, please let me know.

Whoa! Gorgeous! Very nice acquisition!

I won the bidding on this Calder Craft / Hinchliffe French Napoleonic Field Forge kit on the weekend :)

It may take a month or more to come from Europe, but I'm looking forward to assembling and painting this set and showing it on in this Forum later in the year.

This eclectic mix of figures from Del Prado, W. Britains, and John Jenkins for my Napoleonic, War of 1812, and British colonial wars collections arrived today.

Recently I swapped some old HISTOREX and AIRFIX 1/32 scale kits and assembled with a local collector and gained these 4 Stadden Napoleonic figures as castings.

indragoff600.jpg 3carabin.jpg

Inniskilling Dragoon Officer c 1810 & French Carabinier Officer, Trumpeter & Trooper c 1790

He had a load of Saddens that I have managed to go through and buy in the past 2 years, and so these are ones that were on my 'maybe get' list.

He's really happy to see them with my paintwork because he can no longer paint and glad they have 'gained their colours' and into a collection.

Hope you like them,
JOhn
