What would Forum Members like to see in the Conquest of America range in the future? (2 Viewers)

I'm not 100% on board with canoes...
I think I own 9 or 10 canoes now from John's FIW ranges...
I would much rather see a small landing party boat of Conquistadors...
not a full scale boat...
but a small Spanish landing craft...

I'm most hopeful for a few structures...
while John is proficient at doing these...
I'm not...
I can do a little bit of modeling...
but these would be difficult specialty pieces...

I'm sure while John is open to suggestions...
he has already set an agenda for what he is working on...

should be exciting...
 
A boat, a row boat, with a Spanish landing party of 6 to 8 would really hit the spot for me :wink2:

that's about the size I had in mind...
maybe a few more than 6-8 Conquistadors...
nothing of a grand scale...
something affordable you could buy several of if you wanted...
 
I keep flashing back on 'Apocalypto', even though it is Mayan and not Aztec. Same general time period and there is a scene at the end when the Conquistadors come ashore via a small boat. -- Al

Al...a boat that size is exactly what I want...it's an iconic scene out of history in my mind...^&grin
 
I never watched the Apocalypto movie, but looked it up just now on YouTube.
Scene called the “Spanish Arrival”.
You see the Ships in the background and 3 boats approaching the shore.
Yes, that’s exactly the kind of boat I had in mind.
One like that would be quite a treat.

Great movie. Better than expected. Would be cool to see the final scenes with the Spanish boat. Maybe later. Love it all
 
Native drummers for Allies & Aztecs. I have seen artwork where Tlaxcalans have a drum on their backs & Aztecs are beating standing drums. Maybe conches too. Some music. Lastly, an allied porter or two.
Great range! Glad Jenkins is doing such a perfect job!

Porters do imply a marching column to support, don't they? Good idea! It may not be a viable idea until later because of the different "scene" required. I guess for now drums on backs are the most likely.

People seem to want a boat of conquistadores coming ashore. That sounds like a great idea for later, too! Hope that later isn't too long!
