What's Down That Road ? (2 Viewers)

A Motorcycle Recon Unit with radio team is pushes further east, along the railroad tracks, looking for the enemy, most privately hoping the spearhead arrives before they make contact.

WOW {eek3} this is one of the most realistic photo's I have ever seen :salute:::salute:::salute:: looks like the figures are going to move. You really did a FANTASTIC job with your figure and Vehicle placement, just an incredible collection you also really did a Great job with the the FOV pieces.. thanks for sharing regards Gebhard

Mike,
This is an amazing set up! It's pictures like this that make me want to jump back into WW2.
Best,
Josh

Mike:

This is spectacular! The use of the figures and their interaction with the assorted vehicles is so life-like.

well, the photography never seemed poor to me and I know I can't take decent pics for... These look a good grouping of figures

Hey thanks much guys, I really appreciate all your comments and it's been fun to actually have a few minutes to play for a change. I have to admit, it seems I'm mainly sticking to FL/Figarti sets at this time with a few odds and ends from elsewhere.

Alex, I am still the Padawan to your Obi Wan Kenobi :salute::, so I will spend a little time covering the bases this weekend when I add a new set of shots.
Thanks !

HI Mike,
Don't sell yourself short, that photo I highlighted and those three figures in the foreground are some of the best I have seen. Great set up and wonderful placement of the figures and vehicles. Looks like a real scenario from combat pictures I have seen :salute:::salute:::salute:::salute::. regards Gebhard

Hey guys, heavy biz travel and minor illness kept me away for a bit, but thrilled to be back. As always, thanks for the encouragement and Gebhard, please always feel free to play with my pics-what a great effect !

I've had a chance to update my series with some additional units arriving (and yes Alex I crudely hid the bases a bit :salute::):

The recon unit pushes further east, following a rail line, trying to locate enemy units and secure a crossing for the spearhead when they come across a downed ME109-the search for pilot is on.

Mike,
Thank you again for continuing to share such cool shots with us. Bravo!
Josh

Outstanding! Everytime I try to stick to just Civil War. Someone tries to pull me in another direction! When will this madness stop! :) Brad

Brad,
I say the same exact thing about my Naps, every time I think I've settled on just Naps a post like this makes me want to go off charging in another direction.
Josh

Thanks much fellas, having fun goofing around with the dio mat I've laid out, gotta start looking for inspiration to change it up a bit.

Brad, for what's worth, I go through the same challenges when I look @ posted FL ACW, Rome and Nap dios--such temptation ! {sm2}

Hi Mike,
I'm really enjoying your Display :salute:: , just FANTASTIC from top to bottom. thanks for sharing regards Gebhard

My favorite kind of scenes! The ones were the troops are somewhat stationary :D I'm always emailing Matt and asking him to make more stationary or walking infantry.. Love the trains.. Its a shame the Figarti track always has that gap when you try to put the sections together:( How bout adding a Russian casualty to the scene?
