Probably one of the same young research types that put up a photo of the U S S Houston,1930s heavy cruiser when the SSN sub Houston had a leak problem recently. One of the "news" channels,,eyes wide shut sir

Most of the better newer stuff has been put on the military channels and the pentagon also, still some reruns.

I reckon I would have kept Sat TV if we could get the Military Channel in Australia. At least I have plenty of war docs and movies on dvds to keep me entertained during our cool Winter nights. Either this Winter has been colder than usual, or I'm getting older, could be both I guess ;) :D

@combat--Right, that's that cryptozoology series that they ran. Interesting stuff, but not history. It should be on Sci-Fi, or maybe Discovery.

@britfarmer--What's wrong with "Mythbusters" (except that Jamie is so annoying that if you met him in person, you'd probably want to bust him right in the nose)? Some of their tests are interesting. And Kari's a babe!

@binder001-"Monk's" getting better again, but in the past two seasons, I think the quality of the show really dropped. The Captain and Disher went from being hard-boiled, efficient professionals to buffoons, and many episodes became strings of gags highlighting Monk's OCD. And they went from not revealing the villain to the audience until late in the episode, to showing him right at the start. But the latest episode with David Straithairn as a murderous doctor was pretty well-written.

Yep-DVDs are the way to go. Or read a book, TV rots your brain, anyway.

Prost!
Brad

I LOVE Monk and Psych, but some Monks just make me mad. The latest season is much better than the last though.
